Vicky Portwain
I have over 13 years experience of delivering renewable energy projects from site identification and design to first electricity generation. I have delivered over 70MW of renewable energy- through 6 onshore wind energy projects across the UK. I have managed wind farm development teams for one of the largest UK utility companies and co-founded a wind farm development company which secured planning consents for c100 MW. I set up New Energy Hub in 2013 to provide planning and development advice to companies and communities seeking to progress renewable projects in the UK. New Paris Climate Agreement comes into force further to ratification by 97 Countries. The Agreements commits the parties to halting the rise of global temperatures, however environmental campaigners are already concerned the climate change targets will not be met.
