The 12.5 Megawatt Spaldington Airfield Wind Farm is located to the north of Howden in East Riding of Yorkshire. The 5 turbine wind farm was granted planning consent in September 2011. Planning conditions have now been discharged and the project started generating electricity in Spring 2016.
New energy hub worked with Coriolis Energy and Falck Renewables on the development of the project. New energy hub director Vicky Portwain fully managed the project from inception to construction. This included identifying the site, land assembly, managing the EIA and planning application and discharging planning conditions.
